Entry #6 How to Make Strawberry Sago

I don't know about you but I love sweets! I also love making them for my loved ones and myself. On a warm sunny day here in Arizona, I often like to make a delicious strawberry sago. If you have never tried strawberry sago, it's basically a sweet Southeast Asian dessert that contains sago, strawberries, coconut milk, evaporated milk, coconut jelly cubes, and condensed milk. Sago is a chewy soft tapioca pearl that adds a fun texture to your dessert.

If you would like to try this delicious dessert for yourself, here is what you will need.

1: Tapioca pearls   Click to buy!

2: Fresh strawberries

3: Jubes Coconut Jelly (strawberry flavor)  Click to buy!

4: Condensed milk

5: Coconut milk

6: Evaporated milk

In a small pan, fill with water and heat it up until at a boiling temperature. Once boiling, add in your tapioca pearls. Once you see the tapioca pearls turn clear, they are ready! Now you need to strain the excess liquid. Now, you need to prepare the base. For this, all you need to do is mix the condensed milk, coconut milk, and evaporated milk. Now it's time for the strawberries. Wash your strawberries very good and then cut them into small pieces. Now, you mix everything together and you are done!

If you make this, I hope you love it! Remember that it taste much better when it's cold. So, if you don't refrigerate your condensed milk, evaporated milk, and your coconut milk, then it might be pretty warm. You can also refrigerate it for a couple minutes once you are all done!

If you don't like strawberries, try a different fruit! Maybe add in different types of fruit! Theres no rules to creating a delicious dessert. I've made a mango sago before and it was very good.

Let me know in the comments if you make it and like it as much as I do. If you try to switch it up, send me the recipe, i'd like to try yours!
